When PE hot-melt pipe fittings are used for socket connection, the steps should be followed

For PE hot-melt pipe fittings, the temperature control of hot-melt connection tools should be accurate, the temperature distribution of the heating surface should be uniform, and the structure of the heating surface should meet the requirements of the welding process. The clean cotton cloth should be used to clean the dirt on the heating surface before and after the hot-melt connection.

The heating time, heating temperature, applied pressure, holding pressure, and cooling time of PE hot-melt pipe fittings shall comply with the regulations of hot-melt tool manufacturers and polyethylene pipe, pipe fittings, and pipe accessories manufacturers. During the pressure holding and cooling period, the connecting pipe fittings shall not be moved or any external force shall be applied to the connecting parts.

PE pipe, PE hot-melt pipe socket connection operation steps: 1. The outer end of the PE pipe should be chamfered, the angle should not be less than 30 ℃, and the groove length of the pipe surface should not be more than 4mm. 2. Measure the socket length of the pipe fitting, mark the insertion length at the insertion end of the pipe, and scrape off the skin of the insertion section. 3. Clean cotton cloth shall be used to clean the dirt on the joint surface of PE pipes and fittings. 4. The hot-melt socket connection of pipes with a nominal outer diameter greater than or equal to 63mm shall adopt the hot-melt socket connection of the mechanical device, and the two corresponding pieces to be connected shall be straightened to make them on the same axis. When the nominal outer diameter is less than 63mm, the manual hot-melt socket connection can be used with the help of rounding tools.
